Imperial Cakery

Pas pertama kali makan ini, rasanya pengen nangis. COS I GOT THIS ONLY AT IMPERIAL CAKERY IN TANGERANG. (which I personally think it's delicious and the price is reasonable)

kayaknya enak, but the taste wasn't really good, tawar. i put alot of chili sauce to make it more tasty yang sebenernya nggak enak. ahhaha

Malays Food

Chicken rice lunch at Hainan Street Restaurant at RH Plaza.. it's ok

followed by dessert at Tian-Mi Cantonese Dessert at 101

the Mango Honeydew Sago Juice (018) and Pamelo Sago Mango Milk (015) were recommended with added red bean etc.. its kinda too sweet for me but you can try it out yourself

time for something a little healthier with hot soup at a taiwanese place, Tian Sian Steamboat, Jalan Tun Jugah

enjoyed the 2 soupbase (spicy and original) the original soup is herby but still nice, and the spicy is spicy, especially in hot soup! as u can see there's lots of thinly sliced pork pork pork.. not bad, don't mind coming back again.

What's Real & What's Fake

my bowl of noodles took me by surprise this morning.. not that it should, but i still didn't expect it.

look at the toppings.. anything peculiar?

its a vegetarian bowl of noodles.. so yes, the pseudo-char siew and meat are actually vegetarian, made of soya perhaps. definitely doesn't taste like the real thing but i'll give credit for effort. there are certain soya imitations that i like, but some are a little bland.

at one blink you might have missed it, but a proper 2nd look and you know its not the real deal

breakfast at the vegetarian shop at the corner at Central Park. lots of customers, i suppose there are more and more vegetarians in town
maggi goreng for lunch? that's what it looks like, but its kolo mee goreng. i actually think its nicer than maggi goreng coz the noodles are firmer. but at 1st glance (esp in west malaysia) it looks like maggi goreng.

sometimes you gotta be careful of what is real and what is fake; an imitation is only surface-deep, any further and you know you've been taken for a ride.. and in life, it doesn't apply to food only, unfortunately...
